HORROR YEARBOOK

At last, my evil scheming and blood sacrifices to Dagon have paid off.

The good folks at Horror Yearbook have hooked a massive bicycle pump to my head by naming an entire week in my honor. If you go to their homepage, you'll find a funny article about how much they enjoyed my book while sitting on the john, plus an interview, a new review of Eyes Everywhere, and a re-post of the EE book trailer.

EYES EVERYWHERE PROMOTIONAL TOUR CONTINUES

Yesterday, I was a guest at the Book 'Em fair in Waynesboro, Virginia, to benefit the local police department.  The weather was gorgeous--even from the inside of the high school gym--and I enjoyed hanging out with friends and authors Elizabeth Massie, Stephen Mark Rainey, and Elizabeth Blue.  WHSV TV 3 did a spot on the evening news; you can catch a glimpse of the back of Beth Massie's head.

And last weekend, Deena and I attended the Context convention in Columbus, Ohio, where we sold her prints and Halloween cards and copies of Eyes Everywhere.  Besides staying with friends like Gary Braunbeck and Lucy Snyder--and attending Gary's jam-packed workshop on dialogue technique--I enjoyed meeting podcaster extraordinaire Matt Wallace.  Matt afterwards posted a funny blog about meeting me and Gary.  Tim Waggoner also gave a great talk about writing media tie-ins.

Next up is an October 28 signing with John Edward Lawson and Ron Malfi at the Borders Express at White Marsh Mall (Baltimore, MD).

"It was kinda like watching Robin Williams circa 1985 when he was still doing a lot of blow."
